In honor of Earth Day, posting some photos of the new Wangari Gardens in Washington, DC. There was no better Friday evening for me than taking my cameras out on the town to photograph the beautiful Sarah Sayles.  We decided to wander the area near the National Archives, and the warm evening light, fountains and foliage were great backdrops for an an even more beautiful and impressive young women.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to document the San Francisco Vintners Market at Fort Mason while working with Delectable.com (an awesome new start-up that uses an iPhone app to let users track and buy their favorite wines from small vineyards). 

In addition to meeting some amazing sommeliers and entrepreneurs with a deep passion for their art, I watched as thousands of hip young people and wine aficionados poured into the festival pavilion for a weekend of tasting, testing and fun.
